2014 Ford Fusion Crank No Start was created by Ffrh911
Have a 2014 Ford Fusion 2.0 that has a crank no start condition. Everything Checks out but while cranking the desired and actual fuel rail pressure jump up to 1599 psi. Originally the low pressure fuel sensor was bad so I replaced that and the rail pressure sensor. What would cause such high pressure while cranking?
Appreciate any help!

To be clear, the actual fuel rail pressure is matching the desired rail pressure during cranking, correct?

If you let the vehicle sit overnight and check the fuel rail pressure, ignition on *before* cranking the engine, what does it say? Does the low side fuel pressure sensor agree?

If both sensors are reading rationally, and rail pressure is matching desired, then I'd say the PCM is getting exactly what it wants. Normal operation. If the rail pressure sensor is reading high after sitting overnight, then that'd suggest a skewed sensor.
