It concerns a 2016 Ram 2500 6.4L and appears marked fixed June 19, 2020. The visible description closely resembles my truck’s problem, but I cannot access the resolution. My truck is a 2016 Ram 2500 Tradesman 4WD, 6.4L HEMI:P0171 and P0174, both banks lean.Very high positive fuel corrections at warm idle in Park/Neutral.Corrections fall substantially toward zero when placed in Drive, during acceleration, and while cruising.Rough/surging idle and low-speed driveability problems.Four DIY smoke tests—two intake, two exhaust—and multiple spray-test rounds found no leak.PCV valve/hose and EVAP purge valve/intake hose replaced without resolving the problem.Fuel pressure has not yet been verified.Could someone review that iATN case and explain, in their own words, what caused the problem, what repair fixed it, and what test confirmed it? Alternatively, help contacting the original technician would be appreciated. I am not requesting anyone’s credentials or a copy of the paid post.I understand a similar symptom pattern does not guarantee the same cause. I’m trying to pursue this specific lead before spending more on parts. This is my work truck, and getting dependable transportation back is urgent.
Or whatever solution you recommend.
Thank you, Dan
