2007.5 Silverado 3500 diesel no bulb check was created by keyeswinter

I’m having trouble understanding how the bulb check is initiated. I can activate the bulb check with my scanner which leads me to believe the cluster is ok. In the past on other vehiculs I hah put 12 volts on the wire and the cluster has come alive but no joy here. Does anyone know what starts the bulb check

what are you asking? the dash lights dont come on when turning the key to run??

Yes check engine is active but abs, brake etc does not

if you can post a wiring diagram i can help you check somethings. its almost like an iginition switch accessory position isnt working

I have enclosed the wireing diagram and bulb check pics both with key and from the scanner hope this helps

I took voltage measurements in both states and couldn’t see any changes

so the pictures with all dash light on is using scanner to command them on? 2nd with only checkengine light is using key?? also you getting any codes on a network scan?? can you zoom in on the wiring diagram? im wanting to check power/grounds when it acts up also data lines.
