My daughter has a 2012 Yukon Denali XL, at first it had a low oil pressure issue. My son-in-law replaced the oil pressure sensor and the vehicle ran for for about half a day then it lost oil pressure again. We decided that the oil pump was the issue, so we replaced it and the pickup tube. We had good oil pressure until the vehicle reached operating temperature, then no pressure and the vehicle told us to shut down the vehicle. So the vehicle set up for about a month, the battery was dead, so we jumped it off and now we have a "No Crank / No Start" issue. We are getting a U0100 code - Lost communications with the ECM/PCM. Where should we start for troubleshooting this issue?
Check pins 6 and 14 at the data link connector battery unhooked should see 60 ohms. Also that new oil pressure sensor might be shorted pulling the 5 volt reference. So check for a 5 volt reference and powers and grounds at the pcm
