Hello, I have a 2008 impala with the 3.9L engine.the car runs rough on idle and has a code of no correlation cam & crank . As soon as I supply power to the cmp actuator the car idles normal.already check cam and crank sensor.thanks in advance
Oil level is good ,was change a week ago 10w30, I’ve check for an open an it show 0 ohms which indicated no open. I’ve try commanding the actuator on with my scanner but for some reason it won’t allow the test to run, I’m thinking is due to the cam & crank correlation code.i will definitely check oil pressure.
The pcm won't control actuator with a correlation code. supplying power to the actuator should make it run badly, I suspicion you have jumped time and phasing the cam all the way bring it back in time
