Hi scanner Danner. I reside in south africa.
I want you to know that you are the best. I am starting out and watch you at work as often as possible. I am very impressed with your scale of knowledge and especially your teaching abilities. There are not many people out there who care the way you do.
Many many thanks for sharing.

Excellent field manual for any level automotive technician.
I worked through this book before religiously before I began my career in the automotive field.
when I arrived at PEP BOYS for $12/hr in the year 2024, yes $12/hr, it was quite apparent to my managers I had more technical knowledge than everyone in the shop combined, even though they had decades of under the hood experience .
Within three months PEP BOYS raised my pay to $20/hr.
This book saved my life, I woke up everyday dreading life because I didn’t have a career I loved, because of Professor Danner’s great volume of work now I do,
I shudder at the thought of where I would be had I not bought the book and subscribed to the premium channel, perhaps dead or homeless, it wasn’t looking good and now it is.

I want to express my appreciation for Pauls training material and how far I've come because of it. I have learnt almost everything I know about *accurate* diagnostics and the testing of electrical (and mechanical too, for that matter) components from this website.
I now work for a Bentley specialist here in the UK and work almost entirely on Bentleys (as well as some supercar brands that our sister company sends us when their workload is too high).
I am only 24 and have been doing this properly for less than 3 years but I'm teaching technicians with decades of experience how to properly diagnose cars and more importantly how to avoid misdiagnosing. The amount of electronics on these cars, even the older ones, is ridiculous and having this level of repetitive training will put you leagues above the vast majority of experienced technicians.
Having a thorough understanding of the fundamentals laid out by Paul has helped illustrate something he has said time and time again: you can apply these basic principles to virtually any car. I've worked on some of the most exotic cars around, as well as cars that are one bad day away from the scrapyard. The basic principles are always the same.
I went from having virtually no understanding of the electronic components of a car to being the guy people call when they can't diagnose a fault, all because of the training provided by Paul.
Apply yourself, pay attention and you won't be disappointed. This is the real deal.

Paul, I've had many teachers on many subjects. And you are number one, they don't come any better.

I have learned so much from him along with this book, he is so fun to watch because of the excitement he has....THX for all the information paul.
Good morning,
My husband has went through your program 1 time already and is doing it again. As he says, "There is always more information that may have not been retained so it's always beneficial to go back over information."
We started our shop in 2019 and we really enjoy it. Our staff, even though small, is outstanding and always looking for growth. We started our technician's on a SCANNERDANNER program within our shop. The guys are scheduled for your program - 2 times a week for 1 hour each time. That is definitely something that we set forward for learning/informational/referencing. Thank you very much for putting this program together.
Kind regards,
Susan Detaege

I wish there was regular new training videos from your teachings at Rosedale Tech, it would be nice to see new content. I realize that the concepts remain the same but seeing new cases would be awesome.
Reply from SD:
Thank you Jon. We still bring new case studies to SD Premium on a regular basis! There is a "New Videos List" in the drop down menu. I also do some guest appearances and classes at the school, but I had to step out of full-time teaching in late 2018 due to the massive amount of work and time it takes to produce this channel for you guys. But I promise to continue to build on what we have. We are already doing this now with other technicians and trainers on the frontlines of this industry, helping me to bring you guys content that I cannot. And of course I will continue to bring content of my own too! Thank you for helping me make this all possible.

Hi Paul
I am from South Africa and I have been watching your YouTube videos for a while now and I just want to say that I think you are doing an awesome job. The way you keep the skill alive, great stuff. And the key. "Don't be a parts changer". That is a global problem believe me.
The world needs more of your skill and the passion to carry over the skill to the youth.
Keep it going.

I want to say thank you for putting your experience down into a book! I ordered the pdf but as soon as I started to read the material, I will obtain a copy of the physical version of the book.
I come from the "old school" where the computers were just first coming onto the automotive scene. That is where most of my automotive repair knowledge lies.
Thanks to this publication and your videos on YouTube, I am catching up with the times! Not only do you do an excellent job in your explanations, you also have some case studies that we can use to apply in our situations.
Even though I have read the manual, I am going to re read the pdf again because I want to thouroughly comprehend these new systems and the sensors that make them work.
Again thank you for the book. I hope to be able to grab an physical copy of the book soon.
